Honda to partner with Japanese taxi companies to promote self-driving taxis

Honda plans to cooperate with Japanese taxi companies to jointly promote self-driving taxis. Honda will provide systems such as vehicles and taxi-hailing apps, and undertake operational support business, and plans to start operating driverless taxis on Tokyo roads in 2026.
