According to the Changsha Evening News, the construction of the new factory of GAC Aion Changsha Branch is progressing smoothly. In the first quarter, 91 new manufacturing projects were started in the city's parks and 90 projects were put into production. Among them, the GAC Aion new energy vehicle project has attracted much attention. The project plans a total investment of 10 billion yuan, and the transformation of the factory and production line is currently underway. The new factory will use digital technology to create an intelligent production line and is expected to be completed in June 2024. After the first phase reaches full production, the project will contribute 200,000 vehicles/year of standard production capacity to GAC Aion, laying a solid foundation for GAC Aion's annual basic production capacity of 600,000 vehicles and achieving the production and sales target of one million vehicles in 2025.
