Honda plans $11 billion electric vehicle and battery plant in Canada

Honda Motor announced plans to invest $11 billion to build a new electric vehicle and battery production plant based on existing facilities in Ontario, Canada, which is Honda's largest investment in Canada. Honda is expected to bear 60% to 70% of the total investment, and the remaining funds will be provided by joint venture partners and Ontario government subsidies.
