US launches investigation into Tesla's 2 million vehicle recall

Tesla recalled more than 2 million vehicles in December to update its Autopilot driver assistance system, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched an investigation into the adequacy of its safeguards after receiving 20 reports of accidents involving vehicles that were recalled.
