Vitesco Technologies launches new in-vehicle charging system

Vitesco Technologies recently announced that its new on-board charging system will soon be mass-produced. The system integrates multiple functions such as charging, current conversion and power distribution, effectively reducing the charging cost of electric vehicles. The system includes a 22-kilowatt AC charger and an 800-volt fast DC charger, as well as power electronics for distributing high-voltage power. Using silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor technology, the charging efficiency can reach more than 95%, saving electricity bills. The system also has a bidirectional function that can power homes during power outages.
