Panasonic remains the top battery company in Japan, benefiting from the hot sales of Tesla Model Y

As a representative of Japanese battery companies, Panasonic achieved 44.9GWh in the global power battery installation ranking in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 26.0%. Panasonic is one of Tesla's main battery suppliers, especially in the North American market, where the battery installed in Tesla MODEL Y accounts for a large part of Panasonic's total battery installation.
