CATL builds battery factory in Europe

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (CATL) announced that it will build a battery plant in Debrecen, eastern Hungary, with a planned output of 100GWh and an investment of 7.34 billion euros (about 50 billion yuan). This move marks the further expansion of Chinese companies in the European market.
