Tesla's first-quarter 2024 deliveries plunged 8.5% year-on-year

Tesla released its production and sales data for the first quarter of 2024 earlier this month, with a total of 386,810 vehicles delivered, a year-on-year plunge of 8.5%. This data is far lower than the average analyst expectation of about 457,000 vehicles, bringing Tesla's sales back to the level of the second half of 2022.
