LiDAR company Luminar announces 20% layoffs

Luminar, an American lidar company, announced that it will lay off 20% of its employees and strengthen its contract manufacturing partnership with Taiwan's TPK Group. The move is aimed at reducing costs and is expected to save $50 million to $65 million in operating costs annually.
