Zinc-air batteries have attracted much attention as the next generation of electrochemical energy storage technology

0
Zinc-air batteries, as an electrochemical energy storage technology with high theoretical energy density, inherent safety and low cost, are regarded as a strong contender for the next generation of energy storage technology. The kinetics of oxygen reduction and oxygen evolution reactions on the positive electrode side of this battery are very inert, resulting in low energy efficiency, serious side reactions and short cycle life of the battery. Therefore, the development of a bifunctional catalyst that can promote these two reactions is crucial to promote the practical application of zinc-air batteries.
