GAC's first overseas CKD plant completed and started mass production

GAC Passenger Car and Warisan Tan Chong Automobile Sdn Bhd. in Malaysia held a ceremony to celebrate the completion and mass production of the Malaysian CKD (complete knock-down) plant at the Segambut plant in Kuala Lumpur. The plant has a standard production capacity of 34,400 vehicles per year and a maximum production capacity of more than 50,000 vehicles per year.
