BYD's R&D expenses in the first quarter of 2024 reached 10.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 70%

According to BYD Co., Ltd.'s first quarter financial report of 2024, its revenue was 124.94 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.97%; its net profit attributable to shareholders was 4.569 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.62%; and its R&D expenses were 10.61 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 70.10%.
