In March, new car registrations in Europe reached 1.38 million, down 2.8% year-on-year. This is the second time in four months that new car registrations in Europe have fallen year-on-year. The main reasons are weak demand (especially for electric vehicles) and the impact of Easter. In addition to the UK, sales in Germany, Spain, Italy and France have all declined.
