Jabil sells mobile electronics manufacturing business to BYD Electronics for $2.2 billion

Jabil has agreed to sell its mobile electronics manufacturing business to BYD Electronics for $2.2 billion. The business mainly involves the production of consumer electronics components in Chengdu and Wuxi, China. The transaction will allow Jabil to focus on investments in areas such as electric vehicles and renewable energy.
