Jabil and BYD Electronics reach preliminary agreement on mobile electronics manufacturing business

Jabil and BYD Electronics have reached a preliminary agreement on the sale of their mobile electronics manufacturing business, with a potential transaction value of approximately US$2.2 billion. The transaction will bring Jabil important capital to support investments in electric vehicles, renewable energy and other fields. Both parties will continue to conduct due diligence and complete the transaction after obtaining regulatory approval.
