An important step for Volkswagen's intelligent transformation in China

Established in 2023, CoreDrive is Volkswagen's core intelligent driving system supplier in China. It was jointly funded by Volkswagen's software company CARIAD and Horizon. Volkswagen invested a total of 2.4 billion euros in Horizon and CoreDrive, of which the investment in CoreDrive was about 1.3 billion euros, accounting for 60% of the shares, and Horizon accounted for 40%.
