FAW Toyota TEDA plant's production capacity declines, fuel vehicle market continues to shrink

FAW Toyota's TEDA plant has seen a significant drop in production capacity due to changes in market demand. In 2023, the annual production capacity of the TEDA plant will be about 204,000 vehicles, only one-third of the previous year. At the same time, FAW Toyota denied the news that the second production line of the TEDA plant would be sold to BYD, but confirmed that the production line would be temporarily closed in May of the same year for a year and a half.
