At Hon Hai Technology Day 2023, Foxconn showcased key components including EPS electric power steering systems, solid-state batteries and semiconductors, and announced its CDMS (commissioned design and manufacturing services) business model in the electric vehicle field. Hon Hai Chairman Liu Yangwei said that Hon Hai's goal is to occupy a 5% share of the electric vehicle market in 2025.
