Nissan plans to build a pilot production line for all-solid-state batteries at its Yokohama plant

Nissan Motor announced that it will set up a pilot production line for all-solid-state batteries at its plant in Yokohama, which covers an area of ​​about 10,000 square meters. Nissan aims to start production of all-solid-state batteries in March 2025 and achieve mass production in 2028. The energy density of all-solid-state batteries is twice that of traditional lithium-ion batteries, which can significantly shorten charging time.
