The electrification and autonomous driving revolution in China’s mining industry

0
In recent years, China's mining industry has experienced two major technological revolutions: electrification and autonomous driving. In 2017, the first pure electric wide-body truck was launched, but it did not attract much attention in the early stage. However, with the maturity of battery, motor and electronic control technology, the sales volume of pure electric wide-body trucks is expected to exceed 2,000 units in 2022. In addition, autonomous driving technology has also been widely used in the mining industry. Currently, more than 300 autonomous driving mining trucks have been tested in China. As an autonomous driving company, Xidi Zhijia focuses on the research and development of pure electric autonomous driving mining trucks, and has accumulated more than 100,000 kilometers of autonomous driving mileage.
