Volkswagen reaches settlement with Italian car owners over dieselgate

On May 15, Volkswagen and a group representing Italian car owners reached a settlement agreement worth more than 50 million euros to end the legal dispute over the "dieselgate" emissions scandal. Each affected car owner can receive a maximum compensation of 1,100 euros.
