Toyota appoints new president to replace former Daihatsu Motor chief

Toyota Motor Corporation announced that Masahiro Inoue, formerly CEO of Toyota Latin America and the Caribbean, will succeed Soichiro Okuda as president of Daihatsu Motor on March 1. At the same time, Daihatsu Chairman Hisao Matsubayashi will step down, but the company will not have a new chairman.
