Hyundai plans to launch first hybrid car in India

Hyundai Motor Group plans to launch its first hybrid vehicle in the Indian market, which is expected to be available as early as 2026. The hybrid SUV will be similar in size to Hyundai's best-selling mid-size SUV in India, the Creta. Both Hyundai and Kia Motors plan to launch hybrid models in 2026 or 2027 while continuing to advance their electric vehicle plans.
