Continental posts net loss in first quarter

Affected by the delay of new projects after the suspension of old projects, the decline in European automobile production, and salary and wage inflation, Continental's sales in the first quarter fell 5% to 9.8 billion euros, and its adjusted EBITDA was 196 million euros, a year-on-year decrease of 66%. A net loss of 53 million euros, compared with a net profit of 382 million euros in the same period last year.
