German new car sales in April rose 20% year-on-year

Benefiting from three more working days in April compared with the same period last year, German car sales increased by nearly 20% year-on-year to 243,102 units. However, due to the gradual cancellation of electric vehicle subsidies, sales of pure electric vehicles in the month fell slightly year-on-year, with less than 30,000 units sold.
