Pony.ai becomes China's first company to receive a cross-provincial autonomous heavy-duty truck demonstration application license

Pony.ai has recently been jointly certified by the Tianjin Municipal Transportation Commission, Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Tianjin Municipal Public Security Bureau, becoming the first company to obtain a cross-provincial autonomous heavy-duty truck demonstration application license. Pony.ai will work with Sinotrans to provide autonomous high-speed freight services on the Beijing and Tianjin sections of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway, realizing cross-provincial autonomous logistics. The two parties will conduct tests on a total of more than 100 kilometers of Beijing and Tianjin sections of the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Expressway, with a maximum speed of 90 kilometers per hour.
