Pony.ai launches new generation Robotaxi and expands commercial operations

Pony.ai and GAC Toyota have jointly launched a new Robotaxi model with the sixth-generation autonomous driving software and hardware system. It has obtained a commercial operation license from the Nansha District of Guangzhou and provides services on the PonyPilot+ and Ruqi travel platforms. The model provides a more spacious passenger space and is equipped with a rear control panel that can contact the customer service center in an emergency. Currently, the operation covers the entire 803 square kilometers of Nansha, Guangzhou, and the operating hours are 8:00-22:30. This is the second model of the cooperation between Pony.ai and Ruqi Travel. Both parties are committed to promoting the commercial development of driverless driving in China.
