With the rapid development of autonomous vehicles, Micron's LPDDR5 memory has successfully obtained the ISO 26262 safety standard ASIL-D level certification. This certification ensures that the automotive hardware system meets the safety risk prevention and control standards, especially for complex ADAS platform components. The ISO 26262 standard divides semiconductor products into three categories, and Micron believes that its memory products should belong to the third category, namely Class III complex semiconductors. Micron's LPDDR5 memory is the first memory technology to obtain ASIL-D product certification and has safety features that exceed industry standards.
