Panasonic considers investing in battery production line in Kansas

Panasonic is reportedly considering making additional investments in Kansas, USA, to build new battery production lines. The main customer for these additional production will be Tesla, which is working with Panasonic on its Gigafactory in Nevada. Industry insiders speculate that the additional capacity will be used to produce 4680 batteries.
