BYD will launch blade batteries in 2020, with lithium iron phosphate accounting for nearly 70% of the market

In March 2020, BYD launched its cutting-edge power battery product: the blade battery using lithium iron phosphate cathode material. This battery has low cost and strong adaptability, and has quickly occupied the low-end and mid-range electric vehicle market. By 2023, the market share of lithium iron phosphate batteries will be close to 70%.
