SAIC Volkswagen and Zhenqu Technology jointly launched the first "three-in-one" electric drive system based on silicon carbide technology

The first "three-in-one" electric drive system based on silicon carbide (SiC) technology jointly developed by SAIC Volkswagen and Zhenqu Technology was successfully trial-produced and unveiled at the Volkswagen IVET Innovation Technology Forum. The system can increase the cruising range of the ID 4X model by at least 4.5%. Zhenqu Technology's self-developed silicon carbide (SiC) electronic control has the characteristics of high voltage resistance, high frequency, and high temperature resistance, which helps to improve the efficiency of the electric drive system and reduce losses. After six months of close cooperation, the two parties successfully completed several rounds of testing and verification, demonstrating excellent performance.
