On October 14, China's first ultra-high altitude photovoltaic demonstration base, the Xingchuan Demonstration Photovoltaic Power Station in Ganzi, Sichuan, was officially put into operation. This is currently the largest photovoltaic power generation project in Sichuan Province. It is located in Xiangcheng County, Ganzi Prefecture, at an altitude of 3,900-4,500 meters, covers an area of about 13,650 acres, and is expected to generate 1.268 billion kWh of electricity annually. The project is a national-level experimental platform invested and constructed by the State Power Investment Group, aiming to promote the development of the photovoltaic and energy storage industries. Ruinan Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kelu, is responsible for the construction of part of the project, with an installed capacity of 184MW.
