In March 2024, Thailand's pure electric vehicle market sales increased by 37.5% month-on-month

In March 2024, the terminal retail sales of pure electric vehicles (BEV) in Thailand were 5,001 units, down 25.2% year-on-year, but up 37.5% month-on-month. The market penetration rate of BEV reached 8.9%. The total sales of domestic brands in the BEV market were 3,901 units, with a market share of 78.0%. BYD's sales were 1,135 units, with a market share of 22.7%.
