Renault reduced its stake in Nissan to 15% last year.

Last November, Renault reduced its stake in Nissan from about 43 percent to 15 percent to achieve equal cross-shareholding status with Nissan. The change was achieved by handing over 28.4 percent of Nissan shares to a French trust company.
