Honda to invest $11 billion in electric car and battery factory in Canada

Honda Motor announced plans to build a new electric vehicle and battery production plant based on existing facilities in Ontario, Canada, with an investment of US$11 billion. This is Honda's largest investment in Canada ever. Honda said it will bear 60% to 70% of the total investment, and the rest will come from subsidies from joint venture partners and the Ontario government.
