Autoliv's first-quarter operating profit surges

Autoliv's net sales in the first quarter rose 4.9% year-on-year to $2.615 billion, and adjusted operating profit surged 51% year-on-year to $199 million, exceeding expectations. This growth was due to the launch of new products and higher product prices.
