Haiwei plans to start construction of the second phase of its plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to meet the needs of its growing North American business. The project is expected to have a total investment of US$445 million, with a construction area of ​​40,000 square meters in the first phase, and will be completed and put into production in 2024. By then, 18 new die-casting equipment and 104 machining centers will be added, which is expected to increase Haiwei Mexico's annual sales by approximately US$450 million.
