BYD joins hands with Guangyi Technology

BYD announced the launch of a new model, the Seal, which is equipped with Guangyi Technology's EC flexible solid-state film technology. In 2017, Guangyi Technology was officially established and has R&D centers in Silicon Valley and Shenzhen. Globally, there are only three companies in the dimming industry that have truly achieved large-scale mass production of electrochromic, namely Gentex, Sage and View. Gentex produces about 50 million pieces of anti-glare aftermarket, and the overall electrochromic glass output is 900,000 square meters. Sage and View add up to about 900,000 square meters, a total of 1.8 million square meters. The single-line production capacity of Guangyi Technology's Suzhou factory can reach 3 million square meters.
