Malaysia's new energy vehicle market is growing rapidly

In 2023, passenger car sales in Malaysia will reach 719,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 12%. The new energy vehicle market performed particularly well, with sales of pure electric and hybrid vehicles totaling 38,000 units. Among them, the sales volume of pure electric vehicles is approximately 10,000 units, which has achieved significant growth compared with 2,631 units in 2022.
