SAIC's first custom-made ocean-going car carrier is launched, with 7,600 parking spaces

SAIC Group announced that the first ocean-going car carrier (RoRo ship) "tailor-made" for it by CSSC Jiangnan Shipyard has been officially launched. It uses LNG dual fuel, has 7,600 parking spaces, and will be put into use next year. In addition, SAIC Group also plans to gradually add more ocean-going transport ships from 2024 to 2026 to support Chinese independent brands to accelerate their "cross-sea expansion".
