Stellantis and France's Orano establish battery recycling joint venture

Stellantis signed a memorandum of understanding with French nuclear fuel cycle company Orano in October 2023 to establish a joint venture to recycle used electric vehicle batteries and waste from European and North American super factories to increase the supply of cobalt, nickel and lithium needed for electrification and energy transformation.
