The new energy power battery project jointly invested by Dongfeng Motor and its partners has achieved remarkable results

The Dongyu Xinsheng project, jointly invested by Dongfeng Motor, Xinwanda Power Technology and Dongfeng Hongtai, has received a large number of orders since its production, and is scheduled to run until November this year. At present, the factory has built 3 battery cell production lines, 3 module production lines and 1 CTP line, with a planned annual production capacity of 30GWh. In 2023, Dongyu Xinsheng produced 200,000 finished battery cells and 6,500 sets of modules, with an output value of 200 million yuan. The products are mainly supplied to new energy vehicle models under Dongfeng and other brands. It is estimated that by 2024, Dongyu Xinsheng's annual output value will reach 5 billion yuan. With the completion of the second phase of the project, the annual output value is expected to exceed 24 billion yuan, which will play a positive role in extending, supplementing and strengthening the chain of Hubei's automobile industry.
