Dongyu Xinsheng's power battery project has achieved remarkable results

Dongfeng Motor announced that the Dongyu Xinsheng power battery project, jointly invested by Dongfeng Xinwanda Power Technology and Dongfeng Hongtai, has received multiple orders since its production, which have been scheduled until November 2024, and the annual output value is expected to reach 5 billion yuan. At present, Dongyu Xinsheng has built 3 battery cell production lines, 3 module production lines and 1 CTP line, with a planned annual production capacity of 30GWh. In 2023, the company produced 200,000 finished battery cells and 6,500 sets of modules, with an output value of 200 million yuan, providing products for new energy vehicle models under Dongfeng Company and multiple external brands. It is expected that by 2024, Dongyu Xinsheng's annual output value will reach 5 billion yuan. With the completion of the second phase of the project, the annual output value is expected to exceed 24 billion yuan, which will play a positive role in promoting the development of the automobile industry chain in Hubei Province.
