Toyota increases R&D investment in China

Toyota's R&D base in China was renamed "Toyota Intelligent Electric Vehicle R&D Center (China) Co., Ltd." to accelerate the development of local intelligent electric vehicle products. In addition, engineers from the R&D centers of Toyota's three joint ventures in China (FAW Toyota, GAC Toyota, and BYD Toyota) will participate in the leading R&D projects.
