Xpeng Motors launches second-generation 800V electric drive system

Qi Honggang, senior director of Xpeng Motors' electric drive system department, introduced the company's second-generation 800V electric drive system. The system is used in the Xpeng G6 model and has the characteristics of platformization, scalability, and high efficiency. The front drive assembly uses an asynchronous motor and the rear drive assembly uses a permanent magnet synchronous motor.
