NIO sub-brand models will be equipped with entry-level 4D imaging radar

NIO's sub-brand models are expected to be equipped with an entry-level 4D imaging radar, which is jointly developed by NXP and a domestic millimeter-wave radar startup. This radar focuses on high cost performance and is based on NXP's 16nm FinFET S32R41 automotive imaging radar processor and TEF82xx RFCMOS transceiver, which can achieve high azimuth and elevation resolution and long-range vehicle detection distance.
