NXP launches entry-level 4D imaging radar, which will be first used in NIO's new model

NXP has developed an entry-level mass-produced 4D imaging radar in cooperation with a domestic millimeter-wave radar startup, which will be first delivered to NIO's new models in the second half of the year. The radar is based on NXP's 16nm FinFET S32R41 automotive imaging radar processor and TEF82xx RFCMOS transceiver, providing high-precision azimuth and elevation resolution.
