The UAE government approved WeRide's first autonomous driving road license

The UAE government has approved WeRide's autonomous driving road license for the first time, allowing it to conduct road testing and operation of autonomous vehicles in the UAE. This is the first national-level full-area autonomous driving road license in the Middle East. Previously, WeRide's autonomous taxi Robotaxi had completed more than a year of public testing and operation on some roads in the UAE.
