Melexis launches MLX81118 intelligent 24-channel LED driver chip

Melexis has launched the MLX81118 intelligent 24-channel LED driver chip to meet the functional safety requirements of electric vehicle charging ports. The chip integrates a LIN interface and supports ASIL B level, which can be used to monitor the opening and closing status of the charging port cover and the temperature of the high-voltage connector. In addition, the MLX81118 also has GPIO functions, which can be used to monitor temperature, control LED lighting, etc.
