Melexis launches new 3D magnetic position sensor chip

Melexis has recently launched the MLX9042x series of 3D magnetic position sensor chips, which are designed specifically for the automotive field and have the characteristics of high precision, low cost and wide temperature range. This series of chips uses Triaxis® Hall sensor technology and is suitable for a variety of applications such as automotive powertrain actuators and transmission sensors. At the same time, the MLX9042x series complies with the ISO26262 ASIL B standard to ensure functional safety.
